I have always been inspired by the Icelandic tradition of Jolabokaflod - gifting books on Christmas Eve so we may spend the night losing ourselves in stories. This mixed media artwork (collage, inks, penwork, gold, metallic stitching) sized between 15 x 13 cm and created on vintage book paper was one of Night Bird Press's Christmas card designs.
